SHIP MOORING LINE CALCULATIONS
AT YOUR SITE OR VIA THE INTERNET

You can have mooring line force calculations performed at your site at your convenience.

The calculations are performed on a laptop computer with a CD or other storage device containing the results to be left with the customer. 

The computational algorithm is EZ MOOR, a commercially available computer program designed to compute mooring line forces for ships berthed alongside piers and subjected to heavy weather from any direction.  EZ MOOR is described elsewhere within this web site.

The person making the on-site calculations would be Dr. D. C. Tolefson, the designer and producer of EZ MOOR. Dr. Tolefson has 19 years experience with mooring line calculations and he understands that a tutorial style session with the customer is usually desired.

As an alternative to a site visit, the calculations can be performed using the INTERNET.  Here the customer forwards the input data to the office of Dr. Tolefson, and soon afterwards the calculated Heavy Weather Plan results are returned via email.
